Awesome. Now that I know. I will surely be following your progress.

Wohoo, positive feedback!

I just have a couple questions if you don't mind:
1) Will the clouds be static in the back ground?
2) Will everything in the foreground be static?

I think that something that really sets off some platformers are small details like steam or turbines etc. doing their own thing. Adding ambience to the level, making it feel alive. Sonic games (which I haven't played since SNES but still) had a knack for making the world you were in seem actice and populated without having to add anything to the game play, just little things you could run past.

Anyway, I love the artwork and wish I did more work in pixel-art, your character seems cool, like if EarthWorm Jim had a cyborg doppleganger.

Currently they are static, however we do want to make the background (and world) much more dynamic. We noticed that adding a small amount of movement in the background can make the difference between a boring and bleak world and an interesting and alive world.

It's been an interesting experience so far!
