So after a month of and a half of no Flash, I'm back!

About a month and a half ago my computer died (motherboard specifically) and as such it turned into a massive (MASSIVE) paper weight. After messing around with Dell (Never going to get a Dell computer again), and waiting so long for a new motherboard, I finally got it 3 days ago.

Yesterday I started working on getting the motherboard out of this massive XPS 710.. all in all it took me a good 5 hours to get every component out, clean it, and take out the motherboard. Then the next day, putting in the new motherboard and getting everything else in place took a good 3-4 hours. It was a great experience to put a computer together (and have it work perfectly). I'm so happy right now (:

I've been stuck with no games for a month and a half (read no Left 4 Dead, Empires, etc..) and it sucked horribly. And since I have no consoles (except a PS2 with games I've already beaten) I was stuck with a nasty old laptop.

Either way, I'm super glad to be back and able to work on Flash and enjoy killing hordes of zombies (or eaten). And now I'm sad because I have no medals and the only game that has medals keeps on freezing for some reason.. :( [nvm, I read the comments c:]

PS: In more Flash-related news, my main computer is dead (motherboard decided it was time to leave this world) and so I am currently unable to do anything mildly exciting.. like make Flash games/movie (lul) or play Empires, Left 4 Dead, and other games. Now I'm stuck on this crappy laptop that cannot handle Flash (too little RAM :c).

At least there's still I Wanna Be The Guy. That game will always entertain/haunt/annoy me.

Welcome to another edition of me advertising mods that I think are full of greatness.

Today, I'll tell you to go play Empires.

Empires is a Half-Life 2 Mod. Meaning it's completely free, as long as you own a Source game (Half-Life 2, any of it's episodes, L4D, TF2, Portal, etc..).

In Empires you have the two teams: Northern Faction (redish team) and Brenodi Empire (bluish team). The objective: Kill the enemy's command vehicle.

The game is an RTS/FPS blend. Think Savage. One commander per team that plays the game out as an RTS, while everybody else is a soldier. Soldiers get to pick one of the four classes (Engineer, Grenadier, Rifleman, and Scout), as well as different skills for each class (you unlock/pick skills when you get points during the game). During the game the commander will research different weapons/armors/engines/chassis for the team to use. This means tanks are fully customizable, which is awesome.

That's the very basics of the game. There's a lot to it (:

Granted, it has a steep learning curve, but once you learn the basics it's just full of fun. I've been playing this game since 2.0 (released last year). The game is up to 2.2 right now. 2.2 was just released a couple of weeks ago, with many updates to come.

So, if you have any Source game, why not try it? Just download, install, and play! It's fun! I guarantee it!

Also, unless you know how to play pretty well, don't command. Noob commanders are not fun (:

That is a MOD for Half-Life 2. A MOD! It looks professional!

For those who don't know, Black Mesa Source is a total remake of the original Half-Life, in the Source engine. Basically, Half-Life 1 with good graphics (and other minor differences).

The game will be completely free (You are required to have at least one source engine game to play it. Portal, TF2, HL2, CSS, L4D, Ect.). God I can't wait until this thing comes out. It looks so godly.

That game is so great, it's not even funny. I seriously play this game too much. I've been playing this game since 2.0 (which was released more than a year ago), and it's still just as much fun. And, again, it's also a MOD. So, like BlackMesa Source you need a Source game to play it, but otherwise it's completely free.
